To help you enjoy your day at Hever Castle Golf Club we ask that you make yourself aware of the following club rules.

General Club Rules

• The Club Dress Code must be adhered to at all times (See Below)
• No Golf Shoes are permitted within the Downstairs Restaurant Area or the Upstairs Princes Suite. Only Clean Golf Shoes may be worn in other areas of the clubhouse.
• Mobile phones may be used in the clubhouse and on the course provided that they are silent and do not create a disturbance to others.

Speed of Play

• All Players must sign in at the Pro Shop prior to commencing play.
• Tee-off times must be strictly adhered to.
• All players must be on the tee 10 minutes prior to their tee time.
• When teeing off we allow 9 minutes between each group on the Championship Course.
• If you cannot score on a hole, pick up.
• Try to keep up with the group in front but if you do fall behind, wave the group behind you through.

On the Course

• When playing the course, each player must have his/her own bag of clubs.
• Please keep noise down to a minimum.
• Do not stand very close to or on the tee boxes when other golfers are playing.
• Ensure that you replace divots, repair pitch marks and rake bunkers.
• Buggies and trollies must be kept off tees, greens and fringes.
• Local rules are posted on the Clubhouse notice board.
• Changing of Shoes or Clothes is not permitted in the car park.  The Access Code for the Changing Rooms can be obtained from the Professional Shop.

Smart Casual Dress Code

• No dirty, wet or muddy clothing
• No jeans or denim in the Main Bar and Restaurant areas
• No heavily logoed shirts including football/rugby shirts
• Caps or hats must not be worn within the Clubhouse
• Footwear to be worn at all times
• No Golf Shoes are permitted within the Restaurant or Princes Suite areas.          Only Clean golf shoes are allowed in all other areas.
• Mobile Phones may be used in the clubhouse provided that theyare silent and do not cause a disturbance to others.

On the Course (Including Grass Practice Areas)

Golf Attire Dress Code

• Tailored trousers, skirts or shorts must be worn (No Denim)
• Collared or turtle neck golf shirts are required (No heavily logoed shirts or tee shirts including football/rugby shirts)
• Golf shoes must be worn

Driving Range (Excluding Grass Practice Areas)

Smart Casual Dress Code

• No dirty or muddy clothing
• No Faded or torn jeans
• No heavily logoed shirts including football shirts/rugby shirts
• Golf or Flat soled shoes must be worn
